On August 23, 2016 Embrace Chaos facilitated a guerilla suspension performance at the southern end of Hope Street under the I-10 freeway. The suspendee for this installation was Dave Navarro, who coincidentally contacted me about doing a public suspension while I was walking back from scouting this location with Ashes Wednesday. Dave was pierced and rigging set at my loft nearby and then we drove the six blocks to the location. We couldn't have asked for a better night. We had minimal drive by traffic and zero foot traffic during the shoot. Dave suspended for a half hour while Ashes Wednesday and Jux Lii were able to capture some amazing images. This was my first time to use two photographers to document a guerilla performance and based of of the results, it won't be the last.
